A threaded rod, also known as a stud, is a relatively long rod that is threaded on both ends; the thread may extend along the complete length of the rod. They are designed to be used in tension. Threaded rod in bar stock form is often called all-thread.

Thread Rod includes two primary types: Full Thread Rod and Stud Bolts. Threaded rods are usually used for construction, equipment installation, decoration, and other connectors—such as large supermarkets with suspended ceilings, building wall fixings, etc. According to length, products over 1 meter are generally classified as threaded rods, while lengths under 1 meter are designated as stud bolts. Standard ranges include DIN975 and DIN976 from M2 to M100, with lengths reaching 3 meters and beyond.
For carbon steel threaded rods, available grades include 4.8, 5.8, 6.8, 8.8, 10.9, and 12.9 with surface treatments such as zinc plated, hot dipped galvanized, and dacromet. B7 thread rods are also standard stock items compliant with international standards, supported by MTC (Material Test Certificate) for each batch and available in Teflon, PTFE, or XYLAN finishes. Stainless steel threaded rods in stock include SS304 A2 and SS316 A4 DIN975, as well as duplex stainless steels 2205, 2207, and 904L.
